In 2016, the Ciencia Al Tiro project was invited to present the “Solar Mathematics” workshop with Neurobiologist Kathleen Whitlock at the DeLTA UCN Talent Research and Development Center, within the framework of the III Puerto de Ideas Science Festival held in Antofagasta.
Ramiro Vargas, Director of the DeLTA UCN assured that “An articulation was established for students to better understand information and gain knowledge in areas of the Festival of Science and Scientists”.
The DeLTA UCN Program is sponsored by the Universidad Católica del Norte, Mantos Copper, the Ministry of Education, the National Board of School Aid and Scholarships (Junaeb), the Municipal Corporation for Social Development of Antofagasta (Cmds) and the Municipality of Mejillones.
